Finally released - the new CD. This time I wrote and picked out songs to present the different acoustic instruments that I play. It was an enjoyable experience 
to sit in the studio and freely play the kind of music I like. All the songs you hear on the CD have that special Southern feeling.

Helt Oncale (USA), Yannick Monot (France) and Biber Herrmann (Germany) -

 Louisiana Life 

This CD represents the musical influences I've had in my career in Louisiana
which stretch from country to folk, blues, cajun and rock.
Track 13 I wrote especially in memory of my family home near New Orleans
that was lost to hurricane Katrina. 
The pictures for the booklet were taken during my last trip home in April 2006.

  ROAD TO COUNTRY         

On this CD we play country music from Louisiana und Texas, home of Helt and John, with original and cover songs and styles that we grew up with.  
This is the first CD of the Helt Oncale Band with John singing lead on some tracks. Clemens plays perfect drums on all the different styles: Country, 
Texas Shuffle, Bluegrass, Zydeco und Swing. The Helt Oncale Band at its best in 2004.

ON THE RIVER

With the exception of track 5 this CD (published in 2003) presents only my original songs.
It took two years to finish it and I'm really quite proud of the result.
As always, Clemens Schirmer played perfect drums and John McCullough was superb on bass. 
With this CD I am starting my own record company.

Day to Day

This CD I recorded in Nashville with studio musicians in 1996. It includes all original songs. "Day to Day" was nominated by the German American Country Music Federation (GACMF) for the award "CD of the year" in 1997.

Back Home 

Back Home is a CD with Louisiana feeling and stories about New Orleans and the life of the Cajuns. Except for tracks 4 and 7 all titels are originals. Back Home was nominated by the German American Country Music Federation (GACMF) for  "CD of the year"  in 1994.
