Helt Oncale Solo

The multi-instrumentalist Helt Oncale is familiar with lots of different styles of music, be it Blues, Cajun, Swing, Rock 'n' Roll, or original American Country and Bluegrass music. He is not only a Singer/Songwriter who presents his own songs at cultural events but also a talented entertainer who performs well known songs and oldies at festivals, company events or private parties.

Helt Oncale Band

John McCullough from Corpus Christi, Texas, U.S.A., is not only a top bass player but also an excellent lead and harmony vocalist. He has been living in Germany for 20 years and is known for his experience and repertoire.

Clemens Schirmer from Kempten/Bayern has been playing drums in the Helt Oncale Band since 1996. Always in a good mood and highly motivated, he supports the band with perfect rhythm and harmony vocals.

Clemens is endorsed by Troyan Drums, a well-known custom drum maker in Germany. He is a drum and percussion instructor at the music schools in Mainz and Kempten.

Dietmar Waechtler, the number one pedal steel guitar player in the Rhein-Main area and a long-time friend of Helt's. Together with Dirk Maverick the two toured Sri Lanka in 1993. Dietmar is known for his versatility and combines classic country music with a modern sound. A top musician.

International Cajun Trio (ICT)

Allons a la Louisiane... Laissez les bon temps rouler!
Yannick Monot, Biber Herrmann, and Helt Oncale are three excellent performers with songs and stories and good times to share. Together they are The International Cajun Trio. Playing at least nine different instruments with professional experience and dazzling flair these three multi-instrumentalists come together to bring out the best in acoustic handmade music. They present the warm rich Southern culture of the USA with charm and charisma making you think you are really there while at the same time they still represent their own individual colorfol cultures. Cajun, Zydeco, Blues, Swing, Folklore and more are all here for the listening and form a Southern melting pot of life and feeling. Together they created the International Cajun Trio's first CD „Cajun Rendezvous" which takes their audience on an exciting musical journey from Bretagne to Canada and further to the swamps of Louisiana.

Yannick Monot (F)
Born in Concarneau, France, Yannick is a singer, songwriter and storyteller, a world traveller with much time spent in Louisiana. He is a multi-instrumentalist and an incredible musician. He is a professional who performs solo or with his band Nouvelle France. He has recorded and engineered many prize winning CDs.

Helt Oncale (USA)
Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Helt is a singer songwriter and award winning multi-instrumentalist (four time winner GACMF musician of the year) who has learned his profession from years of playing on world famous Bourbon Street in New Orleans. Helt's music covers many styles from Blues, Cajun and Country to Swing.

Biber Herrmann (D)
Born in Ruedesheim, Germany, on the Rhine River, Biber is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, a specialist in authentic acoustic blues music which he plays with feeling to perfection. He is one of the best professional musicians in his field, who has recorded several CDs and is a trophy winning solo performer as well as entertainer on guitar and dobro.

Helt Oncale & Jan Luley

Together with piano player Jan Luley, who specializes in New Orleans piano styles Helt takes his audience on a journey through the rich musical culture of Louisiana and the birthplay of Jazz on the Mississippi. Helt Oncale and Jan Luley perform earthy blues, traditional Cajun, and swinging Jazz, and tell stories of New Orleans and the locals in the surrounding swamps and bayous.
